How Scoring Works
Points are earned during the voting phase of each round.

| Each vote your answer receives | +1 point |
| Winning the round (most votes) | +1 bonus point |
Tiebreakers
Round Ties
If two or more answers tie for the most votes in a round, a tiebreaker vote takes place. Only the tied answers are shown, and everyone votes again to pick a winner.
Game Ties
If two or more players are tied for the overall win at the end of the game:
- The player with the most individual round wins takes first place
- If still tied, it’s a shared victory
Stats Tracked
Every game contributes to your permanent player stats:

| Total Votes Received | Lifetime votes earned from other players |
Leaderboard Points
Your Total Score and Weekly Score determine your position on the Leaderboards. Weekly scores reset every Monday at midnight UTC.
Offline games do not count toward leaderboard scores or stats.
Funniest Nym Award
At the end of every game, the round-by-round winning answer with the most total votes is celebrated as the Funniest Nym Award. It appears on the Game Over screen with a one-tap Share to Community button so you can immediately push it to Community Nyms.
The Funniest Nym Award is purely celebratory — it doesn’t change scoring or rankings. It exists to surface the line everyone laughed hardest at.
